The Til' Dawn Palette Names

This Blog Post has been a long time coming,


Our Til'Dawn palette compliments our Gold 'Dusk' Palette with soft glitters, shimmers and highlighter shades:



First Row: (Left to Right)


Sunset: A Bright yellow matte shade, representing the Caribbean skyline.


Mango: A deep orange shade, to represent the fruit.


Doubles: Popular Trini- street food; doubles is eaten with chickpeas (Chana) and other condiments to flavour. This shade is also a highlighter - a gold and green undertone to represent the aesthetic look of 'doubles'


Trini: A red matter shade, representing our national flag. Red represents the warmth and energy of the sun.


Pomerac: An apple like fruit, red in colour, that looks like an apple, but very white in appearance inside. It's shaped like a pear (Strange right!)



Second Row: (Left to Right)


Ibis: Trinidads national bird the scarlet Ibis- the bird is red in colour- the pink like colour in the palette, represents a young Ibis. This colour is also a highlighter, which is Pink in shade and has a gold undertone.


Mas: The spirit an essence of carnival - a shimmer colour, with a warm champagne gold. A popular colour found in Mas (aka Carnival)


Dawn: A deeper shimmer tone, complementing the aesthetics of the 'Dusk Gold Palette'


Dusk: A pink undertone representing the blush Caribbean skyline at Dawn


Charles: A chocolate brand- welcoming some of the Islands (Trinidad's favourite) 'Bobbie & Ping Pong' to name a few.



Third Row: (Left to Right)



Pitch Lake: Black Matte shade- Pitch Lake is one of the Trinidad's National Treasures- It's one of the world's largest deposit's of asphalt.


Bake: For many Caribbean people the phrase 'Bake' varies, some know it as 'fried dumpling' it is a soft bread (fried) and can be served with some sailfish, or cheese if we're being simple.


Royal: Royal- is short for 'Royal Castle' a fast food eatery which can be found on the Island. It's logo is red and gold, this soft gold shimmer represents the food chain icon.


Scarlet: Scarlet the full name of our national bird- 'Scarlet Ibis'


Bago: An abbreviation of the word 'Tobago' - Red shade representing the colour of the flag.
